I’m offering one guitar and two photography courses for this year’s Sustainable Skills Summer School run by Transition Oamaru and Waitaki District.
Here are the dates and details:
Saturday 24th January 10am to 4pm. The beginners’ guide to guitar.
Covering the history of the instrument, styles, learning to strum, playing lead and playing solo (an introduction to classical and flamenco guitar).
Tuesday 27th January 7pm. The Limits of the Digital Camera and How to Exceed Them.
A one hour demonstration covering depth of field, dynamic range, panoramas, resolution, a sense of movement and more.
Saturday 7th February 10 am to approx. 3 pm. Black and White Mastery.
Using prints and projected images we will cover the language of black and white, developing an artist’s palette, conversion options and non-destructive workflows.
