After using a full frame sensor for the last few years, my only reservation about going back to an APS-C sensor was whether I could make 24 inch wide prints from the files.
I needn’t have worried. A few months ago I took the X-E2 down to Hayes Engineering Works in Central Otago. I made a couple of 24 inch wide prints and I can’t see anything wrong with the detail. This is not a rigorous test, but I have been printing this size from the Canon 5DII since I bought the iPF6300 printer some years ago and have a good idea of what to expect. The Fuji files are at least as good. They need quite a different treatment, especially when it come to sharpening, but refining my work flow will be a nice way to spend the coming winter evenings.
